Description
Nearly Borderless. Perfectly Flat.
The best of both screen designs
Bezel-free screens offer an ultra-modern appearance and maximise the viewing area, but wrapping material around the frame can reduce tension and cause surface imperfections.
Carson’s Zedge frame uses robotic Z-axis machining to move material tension points close to the frame edges. Its slim 1.2 cm bezel combines a nearly borderless appearance with a taut, flat projection surface.
Optimised for UST Projectors
Designed to manage ambient light
Carson Starlight Zero uses Fresnel-inspired optical technology to direct projected light towards viewers while reducing interference from surrounding ambient light, enhancing perceived brightness and contrast for ultra-short-throw projection.
Clear Images, Even With the Lights On
Absorb distracting ambient light
Starlight Zero is designed to preserve colour, contrast and image clarity for UHD and 4K content, even when the room is not completely dark.
UST Starlight 4K/8K CLR
Optical nano-lens material
Carson’s UST Starlight 4K/8K CLR material incorporates Z-axis optical nano-lens technology designed for fine image detail and ambient light absorption from above and the sides.
With a stated 0.8 gain and 160-degree viewing angle, the material redirects light from LED and laser UST projectors towards the audience. Its black backing helps prevent light penetration from behind the screen.
The supplied material description states support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Rec. 2100, with coatings designed to resist creasing, UV, moisture, dust, discolouration and ageing.
