Traditional bezel-free screens offer a modern appearance and maximise screen size, but wrapping material around the rear of the frame can reduce tension and cause an uneven viewing surface.

Carson’s Zedge frame structure combines the benefits of traditional and bezel-free designs. Advanced Z-axis machining moves the material tension points close to the frame edges, creating a slim 1.2 cm bezel while maintaining a flat projection surface.

Designed for ultra-short-throw projectors, Carson Twilight uses Fresnel lens principles to direct projected light towards viewers and reduce interference from ambient light, improving perceived brightness and contrast.

Twilight filters surrounding light to preserve contrast and image clarity, helping high-resolution 4K content look vivid even when the room lights are on.

BrightStar Ultra UST 8K material incorporates Z-axis optical nano-lens technology and is specified to reject up to 93% of ambient light from above and the sides. With 0.8 gain and a 160-degree viewing angle, it is designed for detailed 8K-capable projection.

Optical lenses redirect light from LED and laser UST projectors towards the viewer, while miniature light-shielding structures reduce the effects of surrounding illumination.

The black-backed material supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Rec. 2100, and is designed to resist creasing, UV, moisture, dust, discolouration and ageing.
