Optimised for Ultra Short Throw Projectors
Designed for ultra-short-throw projection, the screen uses Fresnel lens principles to direct projected light towards the audience while absorbing ambient light, helping improve perceived brightness and contrast.
BrightStar Ultra UST 8K
Optical nano-lens technology
BrightStar Ultra UST 8K uses Z-axis optical nano-lens technology for fine 8K+ image detail. The supplied specifications state 93% ambient light absorption from above and the sides, 0.8 gain and a 160° viewing angle.
Its lens structures redirect light from LED and laser UST projectors towards viewers. A black backing helps prevent light penetration from behind the screen.
The supplied material description lists HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Rec. 2100 support, as well as resistance to creasing, UV, moisture, dust, discolouration and ageing.
