Description
BLACK ZERO
Minimal frame. Brighter rooms.
The Carson Black Zero 16:9 4K/8K ALR Fixed Frame Projector Screen combines an ultra-slim 1.2 cm bezel with a tightly tensioned projection surface and Daylight II ALR 8K material for high-contrast projection in rooms with ambient light.
ZEDGE FRAME
Just 1.2 cm from the picture.
Traditional fixed-frame screens rely on wider bezels to maintain material tension, while completely bezel-free designs can compromise surface flatness. Carson's Zedge frame is engineered to combine the clean appearance of a minimal border with the tension required for a consistently flat projection surface.
PRECISION TENSIONING
More picture. Less frame.
Advanced Z-axis machining allows the side material tension points to sit close to the outer edge of the frame. This helps maximise usable picture area while maintaining the tightly tensioned surface required for precise image geometry.
AMBIENT LIGHT REJECTION
Designed for rooms with light.
Daylight II ALR 8K uses a specialised surface structure designed to absorb up to 85% of ambient light arriving from directions other than the projector, helping maintain image contrast and colour when complete room darkening isn't practical.
SCREEN MATERIAL
Daylight II ALR 8K
Carson's Daylight II ALR 8K material incorporates Z-axis lattice coating technology designed to maintain fine image detail while managing unwanted ambient light across the projection surface.
With a 0.8 gain and wide 160-degree viewing angle, Daylight II is designed to deliver consistent colour and image performance across a broad seating area.
Its dark nanoparticle construction is formed over a polymer backing layer designed to prevent light penetration from behind the screen. Daylight II supports modern HDR projection formats including HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Rec. 2100.
The material is engineered for resistance to creasing, UV exposure, moisture, dust, discolouration and ageing, helping maintain consistent performance over time.
