However, because the material wraps around the back of the frame structure, tension is lost. This can result in a less-flat image surface, with crests and dips appearing around the edges and even in the middle of the display area.

Carson's revolutionary Zedge frame combines the best aspects of traditional and bezel-free designs, delivering maximum viewing area and exceptional surface flatness simultaneously.
Using advanced robotic Z-axis machining, Carson engineers moved the side material tension points almost to the very edge of the frame bars.
The result is a screen with just a 1.2cm bezel, creating an almost borderless appearance while maintaining extremely high surface tension for a completely flat picture experience.

Carson's Acoustic Woven II HDR 8K material incorporates next-generation Z-axis interlocking weaves to achieve ultra-fine-grained 8K+ resolving ability.
It retains a highly transparent audio frequency response of 0Hz to 22KHz +/- 3dB, with 1.1 gain and vivid colour transmission across a wide 160-degree viewing arc.
Acoustic Woven II fully supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Rec. 2100, making it an excellent future-proof investment for current and future projectors.
Carson's unique textile coatings help protect the highly elastic fabric against creasing, UV, moisture, dust, discolouration and ageing for lasting performance.
