The Carson Preference Acoustic 16:9 4K/8K HDR Tab-Tension Powered Projector Screen combines precision tensioning with acoustically transparent woven material, allowing speakers to be positioned behind the projection surface for a clean cinema installation.

ACOUSTIC SCREEN MATERIAL
Acoustic Woven II HDR 8K
Carson's Acoustic Woven II HDR 8K material uses a fine interlocking weave designed to preserve high-resolution image detail while allowing sound from speakers positioned behind the screen to pass through the projection surface.
The material is specified with an audio frequency response of 0Hz to 22kHz ±3dB, a 1.1 gain and a wide 160-degree viewing angle for consistent image performance across a broad seating area.
A black backing helps prevent light penetration from behind the screen, while the material is designed to support modern HDR projection formats including HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Rec. 2100.
Its textile coating is engineered for resistance to creasing, UV exposure, moisture, dust, discolouration and ageing, helping maintain consistent performance over time.
