The Carson Preference Tab-Tension 2.35:1 4K/8K In-Ceiling Powered Home Theatre Screen combines cinematic widescreen proportions with a concealed installation and tensioned projection surface for a clean, dedicated cinema experience.
CONCEALED INSTALLATION
There when needed. Hidden when not.
Designed to disappear into the ceiling when not in use, the Preference Tab-Tension keeps the projection system out of sight without permanently occupying wall space. At the touch of a remote, the screen lowers into position and retracts neatly away when you're finished.
TAB-TENSION SYSTEM
Designed for a flatter viewing surface.
The tab-tension system maintains controlled tension across the projection material, helping create a smooth and consistent viewing surface when the screen is fully deployed.
POWERED PRECISION
Smooth powered deployment.
A large French-made Somfy roller works together with the tab-tension system to provide smooth powered operation and a consistently deployed projection surface.
STANDARD SCREEN MATERIAL
Matte White
The fibreglass-based PVC-coated Matte White material features a white viewing surface with black backing for opacity. Its smooth surface distributes projected light across a wide viewing area, making it well suited to rooms where ambient light can be controlled.

OPTIONAL SCREEN MATERIAL
Acoustic
The optional Acoustic material is designed to allow speakers to be installed behind the projection surface, helping create a cleaner cinema layout with sound positioned directly behind the picture. A dedicated black acoustic backing layer is used with this material.
