The Carson Acoustic Zero / Scope Zero 2.35:1 4K/8K HDR Fixed Frame CinemaScope Screen combines an ultra-slim 1.2 cm bezel with acoustically transparent woven material, allowing speakers to be positioned behind the projection surface for a clean and immersive cinema installation.

Traditional fixed-frame screens rely on wider bezels to maintain material tension, while completely bezel-free designs can compromise surface flatness. Carson's Zedge frame combines a minimal border with the tension required for a consistently flat projection surface.

The acoustically transparent woven surface allows front speakers to be positioned behind the screen, helping align dialogue, effects and music directly with the on-screen action while keeping the speaker system hidden from view.

Acoustic Woven II HDR 8K
Carson's Acoustic Woven II HDR 8K material incorporates a fine Z-axis interlocking weave designed to preserve high-resolution image detail while allowing sound from speakers positioned behind the screen to pass through the projection surface.
The material is specified with an audio frequency response of 0Hz to 22kHz ±3dB, a 1.1 gain and a wide 160-degree viewing angle for consistent image performance across a broad seating area.
A black backing helps prevent unwanted light penetration from behind the screen, while the material is designed to support modern HDR projection formats including HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Rec. 2100.
Its textile coating is engineered for resistance to creasing, UV exposure, moisture, dust, discolouration and ageing, helping maintain consistent performance over time.
